Client: PTG.tv
PTG.tv is a company and streaming channel founded and run by Antonio Hicks, and dedicated to facilitating discussion around politics, technology, and gaming. To help broaden the realm of discussion, Hicks wrote a book helping to inform aspiring content creators on what it takes to build and manage their own podcast in the modern age, with no technical training or background in entertainment.
The aim of this project was to redesign the book in a way that captures the adventurous tone of the writing, and also maintains a put together, informative, and welcoming feeling for those trying to read it. This sort of aesthetic runs a bit counter to the system Hicks usually employs for his projects, often opting to design with more energy and sleekness.

The final designed book combines illustrations and typographic compositions with the written content, to make the whole experience feel more like the journey written about within the pages. The interior layout is also made to encourage note-taking and annotations, having wider margins, blank pages, and a designated notes section at the end of the book.
