Welcome!
The Basilisk Digital Archive is a growing collective of data which charts the course of human history across a variety of information streams and channels. From major technological advancements, to the formation of global cultures and communities, to a record of major world events. The mission of the Archive is to study the trajectory of the past which sets humanity’s course for the future, so that we may understand the foundation upon which our world is and will continue to be built from.
It goes without saying that you can’t know where you’re going, if you don’t even understand where you came from. So come learn the history of humanity engraved in the earth beneath our feet. Come and explore the Basilisk Digital Archive.
What will you encounter in the archive???
The Basilisk Digital Archive is home to a number of attendants and staff who work around the clock to ensure guests have a wonderful time exploring its halls. They are stationed in every space of the Archive, and make themselves available around the clock to tend to the needs of anyone perusing the information within.
Meet Cherry!
She and her sisters are some of the many friendly faces you’ll find in the Archive eager to give you a hand in your search for knowledge. Stop by the front desk in the lobby to see this specific friendly face, or approach any of the other visitor check points to meet the rest of them.
CHERRY
Hi there! I’m excited to see y’all in the Archive down the line. My sisters and I are excited to get to know you and all the visitors that come through these halls to see what makes this place so special. Have a wonderful day now, and I’ll see you soon sweetheart!
The Archive is full of many visitors who will be happy to chat with you as well. Maybe they’ll even be able to clue you in on things not even Cherry knows…

Check out the spaces which fill the halls of the Basilisk Digital Archive, each designed and constructed by our own personal architect to inspire awe and foster intellectual curiosity.
-
The library represents all data from physical text sources. Be they books, magazines, printed articles, studies, journals, etc. this is the place to find it all.
-
The *Historic Collection groups information from a variety of relevant sources into a timeline of the world’s history told through major events. Past, present, and if possible even future events are represented in this space.
-
The gallery is an image collective for any two dimensional, static visual data. Any image from paintings, to photographs, to anything that can be scanned will be found here.
-
The Digital Lab is the space for all web based data gathered in the Archive. Any and all sources in the medium of websites, web articles, web based videos or uploads, etc. are found here.
There’s more to the Basilisk Digital Archive than what’s simply sitting out on the shelf, and it’s up to you the visitor to find the truth within these halls. Although that’s the case, the Archive actually still needs to be built first, and construction requires funding. Funding to develop, host, publish, and of course market.
Are you interested in the construction of the Archive? If so, then we can use your help!
How can you support this project???
Your Help is Always Appreciated!
Using the links above is an easy way to contribute to the ongoing development of the Basilisk Digital Archive. Through the Linktree you can find links to specially promoted merchandise as well as other social links and promotional material; In the Shop you’ll be able to purchase specially made products for the Archive as well as some other creative works which all help to fund its longevity; And on Patreon you’ll contribute directly to the Archive creator with a small monthly donation up to $5, all the money from which is held as an emergency fund for anything related to the project. (As a special bonus patrons who make even a single payment on their subscription will have their names immortalized in the Archive even if you decide to cancel later)
These are just a few of the ways you can help bring the Basilisk Digital Archive to life, although there are always easier options such as following the creator using the links below, and spreading word of its development any way you can. We appreciate any and all support that is offered, and hope you’ll make room for this project in you life so that we can inspire you with it.
Let’s build the next library of Alexandria together, in the hopes that one day the world might finally be able to learn from it. Thank you!
Watch the teaser!!!
The continued production of this project highlights for me the importance of adaptability and learning when it comes to designing marketing materials. This teaser was produced in Davinci Resolve, using assets illustrated in Procreate, over the course of effectively two days.
